- Accomplishments
- Since 1980, the
Bears have held fund-raisers and have accomplished the
following:
- Backstop and
bleachers at Victor Junior High
- Backstop,
bleachers, and team benches at Irwin Elementary
- Backstop,
and team benches at park View Elementary
- Backstop,
and team benches at Del Rey Elementary
- FIVE
backstops at Hook Park
- Established
and provided playground equipment for the Bad
News Park at the San Bernardino County
Fairgrounds in Victorville
- Four
backstops and eight team benches at Pebble Beach
Park tee ball fields in Victorville
- Bleachers at
Pebble Beach Park tee ball fields
- Established
two backstops with bleachers at the sports fields
at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds (these
have since been moved to other locations)
- Donated
$3,000 to the VV Translator (our first
fund-raiser)
- For ten years we
held a three-sided tee-ball game and had most of the
tee-ball players participating in the first fund-raisers.

- For the past several
years we have held a 'Roast'.

- We intend to
continue to add items as the need arises and are
definitely not committed just to backstops. If any of you
have any additional suggestions or see a need, please let
us know.

- We appreciate all
those who have supported the many projects over the years
and are glad you have been a part of adding to the needs
of the community.

- Doris has committed
the Bears to raise money next year for the replacement of
playground equipment at the Child Development Center
located at the Victor Valley College.
