Our Mission Statement

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

The Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Cresent Movement are:

• Humanity prevent and alleviate human suffering. Protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being.
• Impartiality no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions.
• Neutrality not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies.
• Independence National Societies must always maintain their autonomy.
• Voluntary Service promoted by desire for gain.
• Unity only one Red Cross or Red Crescent Society in any one country.
• Universality International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is worldwide.

We are Preparedness Partners with all communities of Northern San Bernardino County from the top of Cajon Pass to both the Nevada and Arizona state lines including: Adelanto, Amboy, Apple Valley, Baldy Mesa, Barstow, Boron, Cadiz, Cima, Daggett, Earp, E! Mirage, Essex, Ft. Irwin, Helendale, Hesperia, Hinkley, Johannesburg, Kelso, Lucerne Valley, Needles, Newberry Springs, Oak Hills, Oro Grande, Parker Dam, Phelan, Pinion Hills, Red Mountain, Tecopa, Trona, Victorville, Wrightwood and Yermo.
